The refurbished Garmin Nuvi 760 is an outstanding  GPS unit that provides excellent navigation in a simple and easy to use package.  It is one of the most fully featured refurbished GPS navigation units you are going to find on the market and should definitely be a top candidate in your quest for a navigation GPS that fits your needs.

The Nuvi 760 features a very bright screen, making it very easy to see in at all times of the day.  A multi-destination routing system featuring the ability to sort and optimize stops by distance makes this device perfect for running errands or plotting a long day trip or family vacation.  Then there is the Nuvi 760’s high quality Bluetooth integration.  This feature is so well thought out that when you take a phone call while you have the audible turn-by-turn directions enabled the speaking portion of the directions will cease.

A real time traffic system is another key component to the Nuvi 760.  This feature allows drivers to avoid those holiday pile ups or commuting nightmares that we all hear about on the news or have experienced first hand.  Nobody wants to have to deal with traffic, nobody.

The refurbished Garmin Nuvi 760 also has a one click position identification feature called “Where Am I?”  By clicking the “Where Am I?” button the the GPS interface, you will be instantaneously given your current street address (or closest street address that the Garmin can find), the nearest intersection to your GPS unit, and the exact coordinates.  This feature can be very useful in case of an emergency or accident where you need to notify emergency medical professionals or the police of the exact location that they need to  arrive at.

Similar to the “Where Am I?” feature is the  “Where did I park?” feature.  Whenever the Nuvi 760 is taken off of the windshield mount, the Garmin logs the action in the recent destinations section of the GPS under the name  “Last Position” where it can be accessed at any time.  This is a great feature for use at amusement parks or stadium events where it is very easy to forget where you parked your car.  Simply flip on your nuvi and you are well on your way to getting in your car and back on the road.
